Many-legged butterfly

After the wettest July for a hundred years we had a sunny morning spaniel walk. It was also my best butterfly walk of the year with 22 species seen,  almost a record for me. The 'Many-legged butterfly' is of course a female Common Blue nectaring on Knapweed.
