A man and a story

This evening we had a special man in our photo club meeting called Hannu Siitonen. He is former men's javelin European Gold Medalist in 1974 from Rome and Olympic Silver Medalist from Montreal, Canada 1976. Nowdays he is famous nature photographer in Finland and his latest big success in Finland is documentary nature movie called The Tale Of Forrest (Metsän Tarina), which he filmed for 5 years with Mikko Pöllänen here in South Carelia.

It's a beautiful film for the whole family shows the rich, colourful and diverse life in the Finnish forests during all seasons and weather. The leading roles are given to the numerous animal inhabitants of the woods. Check out the trailer.
