Mum treated us to lunch at The Bell, excellent food and Timmy Taylor’s Gold , doubly excellent.
Following discussions with family who know such things we were advised to allow 8 hrs to get Holyhead Port - eeek, that meant getting up before we went to bed to get there in time and allow for unforeseen incidents. So quick replan and after a lot of goodbye hugs we headed off in the eve ,found a pub car park near Shrewsbury that was happy for us to stay and grabbed ourselves a nights sleep.
