Exmouth

We decided to visit Exmouth this morning despite the mixed weather forecast. We were lucky as there was no rain till late afternoon when we were home.

It was good to see our friends children rush off into the sea and then spend some time making sandcastles. They were amazed at how much the level of the sand had changed. Last time they visited a few years ago they could drop down onto the sand from the road. In fact this lost of sand has made it impossible for the RNLB to launch their lifeboat down the ramp you can see, into the water. It is currently housed in the harbour area until they can rebuild the ramp.
