The Hundred

Mr C and I headed to the Oval this evening to watch the Oval Invincibles play Welsh Fire in the Hundred.   If that makes no sense to you, suffice to say it's a new form of cricket, and a brand new championship.    It was a sell-out, and almost a wash-out, but we were lucky with the rain and it held off just long enough for us to see the Men's Invincibles storm their way to victory.   The Welsh Fire women's team won their match so both franchises can hold their head high.    My brother, sister-in-law and two nephews came too, and great to see everyone.
