Home made

Emergency blip ... just finishing off the last of the ratatouille I made last week, along with a slice of fresh home-made bread. I don't know whether it was because of the white aubergines, but I think it's the best ratatouille I've ever made ... delicious.

I finished Miss Emily, kindly given to me by freespiral a few weeks ago. It's a novel about Emily Dickinson and a fictional maid. Beautifully written, I'll be looking for more by Nuala O'Connor.
