DUCK

we went to the gym first thing and i had a swim. Its very annoying as my watch does not record backstroke at all.
Home and I met a friend for coffee and gave her a home grown cucumber. We had a good catch up too
After lunch we decided to go to Windsor for a coffee as my senior railcard had turned up.
The picture is of the DUCK which is a tourist attraction going round Windsor on the road and then into the Thames and back on to the road. Its fun and the commentary is good too.
Back to the AOG arena. the Canadian geese and swans were waiting on the bank by the Eton boat house in anticipation of something happens. The swans on the other bank were getting distracted by the visitors who had purchased the swan food to feed them.As we stood watching on Eton and Windsor bridge we saw the start and finish of the race. Petunia was a wing span behind juliet as they took off on the water for the 100 metre sprint. She never caught up as they flew just above the water and landed the other side of the bridge. Juliet was elated to win the Gold and petunia pretend it was of no consequence that she took silver and just got on with pruning her feathers.
Had a coffee and went to the station.Whilst sitting on the train we watched the swans taking off and practising for their races later in the week
