Great spotted woodpecker

This morning we went to Foulshaw Moss where there is an osprey nest, we didn't see the ospreys but saw lots of other wildlife and we were very excited spot this woodpecker. It was halfway down the dead tree when we saw it and worked its way up to the top and then flew off. This photo is heavily cropped.
