AOG - Butterfly 5 Gardens Race

The Butterfly 5 Gardens Race at the AOG today was in disarray when an anonymous competitor posted this photo on 'Flutter' of Wendy Large-White and William Large-White in the athletes rest area between races. Social media went into a frenzy and both competitors felt unable to continue in the competition. They were well placed to medal, and Paul Peacock took advantage of the opportunity and here you can see him on the podium about to receive his gold medal. Paul denies rumours that he was seen with a camera earlier. 

I loved watching the showjumping at the end of the eventing, very exciting to see Team GB take gold after nearly 50 years. And a nerve wracking end to the women's hockey quarter-final where Team GB won on penalties.

The NHS Covid-19 app is being updated to only look back at close contacts two days before someone tests positive who is asymptomatic, not five days as it is now.
