Rose of Sharon

Another lovely blue flower in the garden is blooming, my Rose of Sharon tree.  It is loaded with these heavenly blue blossoms this year.  It makes a nice contrast to all the yellow and orange.  We got a bit of rain last night and today we will begin warming up.  Not too hot, thankfully, but more like August.  I haven't needed to use the air conditioning for days but that will change.  It is still summer after all.
