Netted
Back home and the sun is shining. The cabbage whites are out in force, so it’s time to, belatedly, protect the brassicas. I start by eradicating the resident population of larvae and slugs. Then I come the bed in a large sheet of netting. Time will tell if it’s too little too late.
I also plant out the Japanese greens. That should keep me in sales over the autumn.
