Picnic breakfast.

Inver don’t do cooked breakfast in the restaurant for their bothy and shepherds hut guests but they do these legendary picnic baskets, stuffed with homemade goodies.   Stand out for me this year was the blackcurrant leaf and raspberry yoghurt and the homemade granola but V adores their bacon fat croissant.   We ate out at the little stone table but Woody is still outraged he’s not allowed in the hut.  The tide was out and he and I walked along the shore picking up sea glass and shells.

We all set off for Edinburgh via the Dunoon-Gourock ferry which was SO much easier than driving along Loch Lomond.  Arrived at our hotel -  the Dunstane Houses, a two building hotel very Orkney themed.  Very nice!  -  in time for a light lunch and went for an afternoon walk meeting B/C and Tom at @Xtoph1’s home for dinner.  Again quite odd to be there without them.  Woody happily took over Goose’s bed.
