Duckweed

As many times as I've gone down to the Union Canal from #2 Daughter's flat, I've never seen it covered in green duckweed.

We're having a couple of days over the border helping Kat transport boxes of things into a storage depot in preparation for moving out of their 3rd floor tenement flat into a dethatched house. It's times like this we are glad of having the traditional Volvo estate.
