Gorilla Tactics

Today's images were taken on a short walk after our post food shopping Sunday pint. The main image is one of several small enclosures with different plastic animal sculptures which have been placed in front of shop premises in the Fremlin Walk shopping centre in Maidstone to try and distract you from the fact that that they are actually empty. Strangely this particular enclosure also included an oversized toucan but I couldn't quite fit him in the image - although if you look very closely you can just about see his reflection in the window!
Unfortunately there are several empty shops and other enclosures included a lioness and her cubs ensconced on some astroturf and a very lonely looking giraffe.
My extra image is of the outside of a shop nearby that is about to reopen (it had been empty for several months) - I just loved the fact that it was nearly completely wrapped in what looked like cling film with the erroneous but polite sign stuck to the surface telling you to use an alternative entrance!
