Wilderness lake

We did an impromptu camping trip toward Mt Adams with three of our teenage grandchildren. Picked huckleberries both days, and before heading home we drove to our favorite lake there to have lunch and swim. The girls got into an operation of cleaning slippery rocks with smaller rocks, to make them safe to enter the water. “We are saving lives”, they said. “Or at least medical costs.”
