Great blue heron

A rather lazy day for me today. A good service at church in the morning, then we headed out to Stonelick Lake for the afternoon. Roger and Laura went kayaking, whilst I, with my bad hand, sat by the water, people and bird watching, and reading. Whilst I would have preferred to be out on the water, it was a pleasant afternoon, not too hot or humid, and this great blue heron flew in and perched on a nearby log, to provide me with a blip!
