Busy Day!

Nothing unusual about that...looking forward to some down time soon!

We took our usual walk at the Arboretum this morning, followed by some errands...then a long afternoon of prepping for tomorrow's classes, and grading.  Finally some botanical garden work.

But I had the chance midday to sneak on out to the garden. This lavender plant, slightly gone by now, was covered with our native Woodland Skippers. I'd never seen that before...one or two here or there but never a whole bunch...what's that called in the butterfly world? A kaleidoscope!! Isn't that perfect?
