The Giving Tree

I see this tree stump every time I'm on my neighborhood walk and today is the first time I noticed it is now home for mushrooms. It may not be tall or have leaves on it or provide shade like it did in its past but it is still giving. Today I fell in love with this tree a tiny bit more <3.

If you have never read the children's book The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein you're missing out on one awesome story. I totally recommend it! I'm just a girl who loves trees!
