Klingon Death Ritual

We've been watching Star Trek The Next Generation. Last night Worf participated in the first Klingon Death Ritual ever witnessed by outsiders, which was low growling and then throwing their heads back and howling to warn the dead that a Klingon warrior was coming. 
 
My friend who had a stroke has not gotten better. She is making a decision I would make in similar circumstances. It brought to my mind the Klingon Death Ritual. 

Last year the man who owns the house where they have the neighborhood "happy hour" in the driveway went to Michigan to be with his dying friend, despite the risk of Covid. When he came home he immediately secluded in the basement, which was good because he had caught it. He did not share it with his family. We acknowledged here on blip that we couldn't know what we would do if we were in the same situation.  

I'll go visit her. 

I've known her nearly 30 years. She was a fabulous partner in crime.
