Roses in the park

The red Roses are blooming again in the quiet garden. I met my daughter in the park cafe which was a bit of a gamble with the rain due.
As it turned out my daughter had rain before we met but I didn’t even though I am just down the road!! Weird. The forecast rain did not arrive and still no rain this evening. The temperature crept up this afternoon for a while when the sun came out but didn’t last long.
