Canal exploring

Today I went over to visit B and D. Then B and I went to explore a different part of the canal. We drove over to Fernhill Heath and then past the farm where I used to go to dog agility classes. We set off on our walk from Porters Mill bridge and walked down to lock 8. There were lots of tall reeds and when we sat down for a while by the canal I liked the noise of the leaves as they were rustling in the wind. We also saw a kingfisher so that was good, there were lots of small fish swimming in the canal so plenty for a kingfisher to eat. Then back to B and D’s house where we had roast chicken with all the usual things that go with it. Back home now.
