Chirk AAA 4 Dolgellau Athletic 0

I ventured into North Wales today to watch the Ardal North East game between Chirk AAA and Dolgellau Athletic. It is a curious league because there seems to be no logic to the split between the west and east divisions. For instance Saltney Town, who are as close to England as you can get, are in the West league while Machynlleth (near the coast) are in the East.

The scoreline of 4-0 to Chirk was a bit flattering as there certainly wasn't a 4 goal difference between the teams but it wasn't the best quality game and Chirk took the few chances they created. The blip shows a Chirk defender clearing a cross.
