Klimpfjäll and one for the road

Back in Sweden. The weather and traffic didn't encourage more driving i Norway this time. Spending a couple of days in Klimpfjäll (look at the map). A nice, basic hotel. Perfect.

About this hood, close is Stekenjokk. From there me and my soldier friends kicked out in the middle of winter for the very first march 1976. We still where recruits. A lot of snow, but no skies, just heavy backpacks and walking in deep snow . I'll never forget it. It was the first time I slept under a bare sky in -25 degrees Celsius. We just dug a hole in the snow. Those were the days.....

I celebrated that memory with a perfectly cool beer.
