Leg warmers

The glazier couldn’t fix the sash window that was dropping so the joiner came around this morning. He thought it was going to be an easy job but the cord broke while he was repairing the window and the weights dropped into the wall, so it turned into a 3 hour job for him. At the same time, the window cleaner call to say he was in the area, so we finally got the windows cleaned. Talked to the insurance company again today and they have referred the claim to another department, managed to get a call back with them and they seem to be happy to accept liability and pay out the claim for the 3rd parties. Told them that the most important thing was to settle the 3rd party claims so we can forget about them, and our claim can wait. Hopefully, this will happen soon. They need the death cert and probate to pay out for dad’s car which is a right off as expected. Got Kilda washed this afternoon and then she had to suffer a cut in the evening as it’s getting hotter here.
