Out of the Trap

Quite a productive day today. As well as watching yet more cricket, I spent time ID'ing moths from my trap, gardening and cleaning out the bird feeders.
Having checked local records, this Campion Moth, it seems, is not that common in this area, and was certainly new for my garden. As well as intricate patterning, it has some interesting pink markings. Not new to the garden, but nevertheless an interesting specimen, was the Lesser Swallow Prominent (see extras).
Happy Yorkshire Day!
