Perfectly Poised...

After grumbling about the rain and cold this morning, I decided to go to Old Moor as they have recently opened the reedbeds again. It was so lovely to walk down that path this afternoon - they have been closed during the breeding season for bitterns & marsh harriers. I had 3 views of a bittern & a juv. Bearded tits were pinging everywhere and it was just 'good.'

Not particularly a photo day, but this common darter was 'perfectly poised.' :)
