Lammas

We are enjoying adding this east coast walk to our regular ones. A definite shift in the weather and an autumn feel to the day. For the sea-birds, the spring and summer season of nesting and raising young is moving on to the next cycle of life. And the orchids have gone, too, replaced by heather, devil’s bit scabious and autumn hawkbit.
