Life Begins at 22

Day 78.

When people ask Daughter Number 1 what she did for her 22nd Birthday, she will tell then - 'Moved in with my Mummy!'

And we have had a very lovely day.

Boyfriend didn't come last night and took 7 hours to reply to my message requesting he came, so brave daughter took the decision to call it a day. While I was at work yesterday, her best friend helped her pack up some stuff and bring it back to Mummy's house. At least that meant she was 'home' with her Mummy and Daddy Ray for the first time in 4 years, since I lost her after my divorce.

It was the most wonderful feeling to have her open her presents in bed with us this morning and she hasn't cried all day!!

We have been to pack more stuff, have cake with friends, shop for new pyjamas and now she is up there sorting her mountain of stuff, trying to fit it all into a tiny room!!!

But its good to have her home.

Here she can be seen in her new room with her new Bunny. The old Bunny - fondly known as Buddies - can be seen laying on the bed. He is 22 years old today too!!!

And guess what - Emily is a Heart Freek too!!!! Can't think where she gets that from!!!
