Lake Wakatipu ...

..... ..... ..... overshadowed by the Remarkable Mountains.

I was invited out for lunch today by a young couple at church. I used to take the chap out with his camera when I lived in Christchurch. It was such a fun visit. She is from South Africa and the story of their romance made great listening! They’re living in a holiday home owned by his family, right on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. Awesome views, but the house faces south and needs 24 hour heating at this time of the year.

I made my first ever brew of kimchi last night, and bottled it all this morning. It looks so vibrantly colourful - hope it tastes all right.
