Keepers!

We had a grand day out at the Cranbrook footie tournament.  Their coach was very happy with their efforts.

Given that we played top teams who play together week in and out, we did surprisingly well!  We didn’t score many goals but did pretty well at stopping them!

It was a bit sad to see one team depart after losing 7-0 in their first match. We’ve taken plenty of thumpings like that in the past. And there was no shame in that as some of the teams were under 15 division 1 teams and they looked and played like men.

We were going to get a second coat on Leo’s room but as we had stayed to watch the final, after we went out in the quarter final stage we were later back than expected. So we rested our weary bones and will have to finish it off on Sunday instead. 

Leo is rather enjoying sleeping on his bed in the living room as he has full Netflix access!
