1498: Christopher Columbus lands in South America
Quote Of The Day
"These people are very unskilled in arms ..... with fifty men they could all be subjected and made to do all that one wished."
(Christopher Columbus)
At 07:20 I began making my way up Mount Rokko. I reached the summit at around 10:30. I came off the mountain around 13:50 and headed into the centre of Takarazuka to reach the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum (extra.) The temperature got up to 35 degrees today so I think I made good time. I felt sorry for the people who had to share a train carriage with me, though; I think I smelled like a yak. The cold shower when I returned home was heavenly!
