A Surprise.....!!!!

This dahlia s proving just that....! I found the tuber in a pot in the glasshouse late in the Spring, had forgotten I had it and had no idea what it would be like ...I planted it up left it in the heat and it grew enormous and now at last it’s flowering ..

I had intended to explain the crochet pattern on yesterdays blip but totally forgot...so for anyone interested it’s called Jacobs Ladder....you crochet the loops as you go and then work them together when complete and catch them in the top row. Although it looks complicated it’s really simple ...a new pattern for me!
