Impossible to find words but such a beautiful, uplifting and moving funeral service this morning to mark the sudden death of the irreplaceable Emma Ritch, Executive Director of Engender Scotland. I was there in both a personal capacity but also, as Co-Chair, to represent the First Minister’s National Advisory Council on Women & Girls, where Emma was a central member. Incredibly powerful tributes, heartfelt poetry and some very excellent girl punk. Rest in power rebel girl Emma - the work goes on in your memory.
