Lonely ash

I delivered a batch of honey to the Orton Village Stores, she was very pleased!
Then on the Lower Borrowdale for a walk, the little ash tree is holding on although it obviously has some tip die back. Still hope it will survive, but some of the ancient trees in the woods have died.
In extra an Alder moth caterpillar which I have never seen before, it’s very striking and probably poisonous!
