New directions

Feeling very reflective today as it's my youngest daughter's last weekend in her current unit. Monday will be the next step on her road to recovery. She has 'lived' at this unit for 2.5 years and had been here previously when just 13. It feels a very big step and I am both excited and anxious. It will be a move from adolescent to adult care which brings opportunity and challenge. I had a wander round the ground and park opposite after my visit.
Tonight I went out with my good friend for food, took my mind off things for a while. Excellent local restaurant with great safety and distancing measures.
