East Lambrook Manor

We went to the King's Arms in Montacute for lunch, it was fantastic. Afterwards we visited East Lambrook Manor, the home of the late Margery Fish, an influential gardener who planted the beautiful cottage style gardens as seen in the main photo. There is also a photo of a beautiful lady smiling amongst the clipped juniper.

On the way back we visited a craft centre and looked at some lovely items, it has been a lovely day.

Oops, nearly forgot, back at the house we watched the perigrine falcon who has taken up residence on the church next door and whilst doing so the sun lit up the Conifer in a neighbouring garden making the fantastic cones glow. Thank you to RF for taking the photo for me.
