Crab racing!!

Our son and our twin grandchildren arrived from the UK this morning. It’s been 19 months since we’ve seen them. I can’t express enough how good it feels! This morning they went for a first sailing lesson on what we know as The Model Yacht Pond. Our other grandchildren joined us for lunch then we all went to the Rocquaine Regatta which was great fun. There were cycling races on the beach, our son was 2nd! Chariot races, the twins were 3rd in the 7-14 age group and they are only 8. They walked on stilts aided by daddy, took part in a crab race (see above photo) pulled crab pots across the sand….a busy day. Home to a relaxing bath, a movie and tea then out like a light for bed!
