Spitfire at 4 o’clock!

What a super day. First night in our new bedroom (now that we have the curtains!) and it was great. Amazing to wake up to that view!

Had a nice relaxing kind of day. Visited a craft market and bumped into a very talented illustrator who did a college course with me a few years back. Felt good to buy one of his pieces as I always loved his artwork.

While I was walking the dog in the park afterwards, my husband passed overhead in his replica Spitfire. He was doing a fly past for a friend’s wedding! Was fun trying to take pics of his aircraft from so far away with my phone (he was pretty high!).

Watched a bit of the Olympics later on - my friend’s cousin is James Guy who has won a couple of gold medals for Team GB in the pool. Amazing!
