back-blip

Visitors arrived today. Mum flew down first thing and a pyjama clad Amelie chummed Chris to the airport to pick her up. We had breakfast and then Granny took Amelie to Jo Jingles. Apparently they had a great time - Amelie was joining in with everything...and so was Granny!

Isaac had his 5 day check today, everything is great. He only lost 2.5% of his birthweight (100g), showed no signs of jaundice and didn't cry during the heel prick test due to tactical feeding (and according to the maternity support worker, he 'bled well'....umm, good?!)

Later on this afternoon Chris went to the airport to pick up Jan and James. They are staying in a hotel nearby this time but came straight here. My Mum made us a lasagne for dinner and we had a lovely relaxing evening. I attempted my first glass of wine but was too tired to enjoy it.

Isaac was a very lucky boy and received a huge pile of gorgeous presents from Auntie Jan and Uncle James. Amelie was rather lucky too. One of her gifts was a magic facecloth which unfortunately she managed unravel before it made it into the bath!
