Volkswagen in Ford

I’m not sure if there is a sign when approaching the ford from this direction but from the other direction a sign clearly says ‘Not suitable for vehicles; loose bottom’.  This is the first time I’ve seen anyone try to drive through; after stopping briefly he decided he could make it and set off.  Just over half way I thought he’d stalled; there were strange noises coming from the engine but he got it going again and made it.  I did notice rather a lot of water running out of the back though; hope everything inside wasn’t soaked!
