Akbuk

The heatwave and hot dry winds continue, and unfortunately, so do the fires in Turkey of which the closest to me is near Didim, a few km distant. The government has closed at least one National Park to prevent picnics and barbecues that are very popular here. 

For Robin and me it was a busy morning - errands in Didim town centre including her Covid test prior to flying back to Baku on Sunday morning. A lazy poolside afternoon followed, and then in to Akbuk this evening for a waterfront stroll, souvenirs for her colleagues at one of the stalls and dinner at Paşa restaurant.
