7.30 am delivery

Our new kitchen cabinets and appliances were delivered this morning.  We were expecting them - but not at 7.30 in the morning. They did apologise for being so early, but it was fine by us.

The two guys worked hard to get it all (54 parcels, 933kg) into the kitchen.  They (and we) were fortunate that the weather was good at that point.  As soon as they had unloaded the last parcel and driven off to their next delivery the heavens opened.

The fitters will have a fun job when they come on Monday.  The kitchen is stuffed full of the boxes: they will have to move some of them out again to be able to start work. At this stage it is a little difficult to believe that it will all fit.
