Bowed

The garden has had a bit of a bashing today - thunder and lightning and heavy rain for quite a while this afternoon. The verbena bonariensis has twisted itself into some interesting shapes but wasn't quite as bowed down as the hydrangeas. Bailey and I have managed two walks in the dry but there is definitely a drop in the temperature. There's been some more tidying, reading and little else today.
