Pompom Dahlia

Clickychick had an appointment in Carlisle in the afternoon and there was shopping delayed because of Covid and various things for the Lodge from our wholesaler.  We decided to make a day of it so we collected Kanyl and headed off.

As the wholesaler was within striking distance of one of our favourite Carlisle garden centres we headed there next.  This nicely coincided with lunchtime so a nice lunch was enjoyed before photography of various flowers.

The rest of the day progressed well.  However it was very strange walking crowded streets after 18 months of avoiding crowds.  It was interesting to note that everywhere we went still required masks and even on the street and in the Lanes (shopping centre) the majority were still masked.
