Cannon Hall

A lunch meet-up and catch up with a friend from Ackworth, who I haven't seen for a long time.  It was good to hear about her family and grandchildren and to share what's happening to my family.  We  both used to be involved in Riding for the Disabled and Anne carried on after I left Ackworth.  She had a very nasty riding accident (much worse than my ankle injury) but she walks on a regular basis with friends and we managed the circuit of Cannon Hall grounds quite easily.  It's a while since I've photographed this view.  It used to be a weekly walk when my mum and dad were still alive and we carried on doing it with mum for as ling as she was able.
