Thimbleberry (Rubus Parviflorus)

And yes the berries are edible, seeing as how you asked. Quite similar to a raspberry in appearance but much softer. I am told one could make jam with them too although I doubt if we have enough berries to make it worth while.
This is of course the leaf, not the berry.!
