Polypodiophyta

I've been experimenting with printing 'wet' cyanotypes this week. I'm quite pleased with this one which uses some ferns from the garden. As well as the usual solution of ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide to make the light sensitive solution, I also sprayed the paper with dilute vinegar, added some table salt and some turmeric powder. I exposed the plate for eight hours before rinsing all the chemicals off in water to reveal the colours, quite different to the traditional cyanotype look.
