Highway Traces

Now I haven't done this sort of thing in ages. Jensphotos has been fooling around with light traces and so I thought I'd have a go as well. I do admit that this is not nearly so thrilling an exploit as Jenny's was but then again I am not nearly so adventurous or as brave.

I wandered up to the Great Western Highway which intersects with my residential street, set up the camera on a tripod, selected bulb and opened the shutter while the trucks and cars roared past for a bit. I am still trying to work out how some of these traces were formed - specially the dotted ones (I don't remember any flashing lights). Anyway this is fun. I think I might try it again soon. Wheeee!!

Incidentally I don't normally strive for such things but apart from the RAW conversion, this image is pretty much sooc.
