Shredded Tyre on M5

A puncture on the M5 could have been far worse. There was no hard shoulder but luckily we were near a turn off and ended up outside the police and highways depot, albeit with a shredded tyre. What a busy place. Every police vehicle entering the depot asked if we were OK. One waited until he was certain help was on its way. We were invited in to use the facilities if necessary , and have a drink, and bollards were arranged professionally round our vehicle. Fantastic, not to mention great service from our recovery provider.
