Desert inland

This weekend we are up in Arisaig visiting pals. I have a family connection in this part of the world so it is always great to come back here. Our friends have a small cottage near the beach at Camusdarach - a truly stunning location. The beaches in the West Highlands of Scotland are amongst the most spectacular in the world. We had azure blue skies, bright silver sands and a view of the mighty Black Cuillin mountains of Skye dusted in snow.And the Arctic temperatures ensure that they remain relatively unpopulated.
